5 Ways to Make Money With the Repper App

When I introduced you to the Repper app in this post, an online algorithm based pattern maker app that I love, I did mention that it was accessible to all and useful for those of you willing to make money online with art but who aren’t artists nor professional designers.

Well, today I’d like to take it a step further and give you 5 ways you could make money with your Repper patterns/ the Repper app.

1. Digital Paper

Something that’s quite simple to produce and package as a product is digital paper sets. These are used by crafters for scrapbooking, journaling and other paper crafts. They can also be used by small business owners as design elements to integrate to a design composition that they can sell on merchandize online. I personally sell on Creative Fabrica and Creative Market but I know that you can also sell digital paper on Etsy or on your own website.

2. Merchandise

Another way to sell Repper patterns is on merchandise. Whether you choose to have your own store or upload your designs onto a marketplace online, you could sell your patterns on phone cases, notebooks and other physical merch. Patterns look pretty on merchandise, whether it is home decor, stationery and cards or tech accessories. Something you could do is focus your online business on one type of products for instance and sell just this. This could be journals, planners or fitness apparel and accessories.

3. Fabric

Fabric is another surface you can sell Repper patterns on. They could be used by quilters, crafters into sewing and small business owners who make things by hand, with fabric, for sale. Alternatively, interior designers and home decorators could also buy fabric for bespoke client projects or buy your pattern on wallpaper or home decor accessories on Spoonflower. Not to mention those professionals who sew to earn a living, the likes of tailors, seamstresses, etc. Fabric is always a delightful way to commercialise patterns.

4. Digital Products Other Than Digital Paper

Selling digital products, other than digital paper, is another fabulous way to monetise on your Repper patterns. Indeed, you could further manipulate your patterns to create digital products such as digital washi tapes, digital stickers, digital journal covers, digital printables that can be used either on a tablet or printed, etc. People use these for running their business from home, to get organized at home, to plan their lives and events, etc.

5. Affiliate Marketing

Studio Ludens, the maker of the Repper app, offers an affiliate program you could take part in. You could find ways to promote the Repper app and earn each time you bring them a qualifying transaction. For instance, this is precisely what I’m doing here in this final section with the graphic above. This graphic has an affiliate link attached to it. Every time a visitor will click the graphic – therefore link – and get a subscription, I will earn 25% of the subscription value for as long as they stay with Repper for a maximum period of up to 12 months. Find out more about their affiliate program here.

I hope you enjoyed discovering how you could make money with your Repper patterns and wish you the best of luck with your online business adventures.
