A few months ago I started out this little Zazzle store, as a side project. But then life got in the way and it got forgotten. Until I recently discovered it started selling.
Back then I wanted to celebrate my love of the colour brown. I thought maybe that wouldn’t appeal to anyone, even though I loved the products I added to my store, but recent sales have taught me the opposite is true.
I don’t know if you’re like me but I love the colour brown, whether rustic brown, leather brown, vintage brown, you name it brown. If my eyes consider it aesthetically pretty, there’s a good chance I’d enjoy it.
So, when I started the store, I wanted to focus on rustic brown and added the above products to my store. But in the recent weeks I’ve been willing to expand that to rougher looking ink stamps and get back into dog drawing and learning to capture farm animals. There’s something charming about keeping it loose and rough enough I have found. Most often, my work as an artist is a tad more refined – check it out here – so this store gives me an outlet for working more loosely and imprecisely.
I’m very much looking forward to loosening up!
To loosening up and the lovely customers who recently revived the little fire in me about this store with their purchase!
